Re-registration with The Care Quality Commission required to meet new standards
Beechtree Totalcare has met all the new standards required in the updated regulations, beating the re-registration deadline of October 2010. Key changes around Infection Control and Nutrition have been implemented and updated in the in-house training programmes.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be inviting all organisations to re-register by October 2010, confirming that they meet all the required standards. These were set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2009 and The Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.
